During your fabulous stay at the grand 5-star Eurostars Berlin hotel, you will discover a German city strongly marked by its recent history. You will be comfortably settled in the heart of Berlin’s most cultural and historically significant street, The Friedrichstraße (Frederick Street). Friedrichstraße, is not only Berlin’s most renowned shopping and entertainment district, it also celebrates its deep-rooted historical origins with a number of beautiful museums and monuments. Located in the Friedrichstadt neighbourhood, between Mitten and Kreuzberg, this vibrant street was once home to the infamous Berlin Wall (that segregated socialist East Germany from the West from 1961 to 1989) and Checkpoint Charlie (the most famous crossing point between East and West Berlin during the Cold War). The area was significantly damaged during the Second World War, but owes its modern day charm to a great number of influential architects, including the Frenchman Jean Nouvel, that contributed to its reconstruction in the 1990s. Today, Friedrichstraße is a world-class shopping district that boasts upscale art galleries, shops, restaurants and museums, including the magnificent Museumsinsel “Museum Island”.

This spectacular Eurostars Berlin hotel towers over Friedrichstraße with its impressive glass façade and atrium that bathes the entire building in natural light. The hotel epitomises luxury with its attentive staff and nine floors of spacious, upscale rooms. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, fitness and wellness centre. The front desk is also open 24-hours a day.

Enjoy a 3-day and 2-night stay from 251 per person. Non-contractual information as of 29 March 2024.

  • Berlin is steeped in history and offers you the chance to relive the exciting and tragic events of the past, including the ultimate reunification of Germany.
  • What’s more, Berlin’s major attractions are closely situated to one another. Popular attractions include: Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag building, Tiergarten park, the Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz, the East Side Gallery, the Art Market at Zeughaus and the five museums of the Museumsinsel (Bode-Museum, Pergamon Museum, Altes Museum, Neues Museum and Alte Nationalgalerie).
  • Eurostars Berlin hotel, in the heart of Berlin, places special emphasis on luxury. Each of its elegant, well-appointed double rooms includes a hydro-massage shower (or bathtub), LCD TV, telephone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee station, towel warmer, safe, bathrobe, toiletries, desk, wake-up call service, air-conditioner and central heating.
  • Berlin has been recognized as one of the most culturally-charged cities in the world. It is the only city that boasts three opera houses (Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Unter den Linden and Komische Oper Berlin). In addition to this feat, the German capital is home to over 50 theatres, 170 museums, 140 libraries and 400 art galleries. Berlin’s nightlife never sleeps, with pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants open 24/7.
  • Approximately 2.5 kilometres of the Berlin Wall remains preserved throughout the city. According to Alain Clavien (professor of history at the University of Freiburg) its legacy remains intact with parts of the wall being used as gravel to pave the city’s roads; other pieces were acquired by international museums or sold as souvenirs. In an effort to erase the area’s communist past, the German authorities committed to changing the street names of more than 100 streets named after communist leaders.
  • It is believed that Europe accounts for more than half of the world’s zoos. It’s hard to establish which country has the most zoos, due to the obscure definition of what constitutes a ‘zoo’, but statistics suggest that Germany has the most zoological gardens (approx. 400). The Berlin Zoological Garden, located in Berlin’s infamous Tiergarten, houses the largest collections of species in the world (approx. 1,380 species and collectively over 20,200 animals). The zoo has withstood the test of time. It opened its doors in 1844, thanks to King Frederick William IV of Prussia who donated its first collection of animals. Sadly, it was nearly destroyed during the Second World War and the Allied Forces’s siege of Berlin. Only 91 of its 4,000 animals survived the bombings. Today, it is the most visited zoo in Europe, with more than 3.5 million visitors annually.
  • The Berlin Welcome Card package entitles you to free public transport, a city map and other attraction-related discounts. Should your stay be affected by Covid-19 restrictions you will receive a 100% refund.
  • If you wish to spend a quiet evening in, the hotel’s Eurostars Berlin restaurant offers a world-class dining experience with a special emphasis on seasonal products. See the city from a different perspective by renting a bicycle from reception.
  • The hotel is conveniently situated next to the Berlin Friedrichstraße train station, which has a connecting line to Terminal 5 at the new Berlin Brandenburg International Airport, Willy Brandt (BER).
