Denmark is the oldest kingdom in Europe. It is the birthplace of the author and poet Hans Christian Andersen (19th century) who reinvented the literary genre of children's storytelling. Thanks to the success of his works abroad, the country is known as "the land of wonderful tales" and has the oldest amusement parks in the world still in operation. This Viking nation surrounded by water has superb natural and historical sites (nearly 500 islands, picturesque villages, castles...).

Major places to visit in Denmark are Copenhagen, Tivoli Gardens, Kronborg Castle, Roskilde Festival, Bakken, Stevns Klint, Legoland Billund, Knuthenborg Safaripark, Faroe Islands, Kulusuk...
